Me, myself and I

Postby JustJace2u » Sun Nov 27, 2016 5:09 pm

Hello everyone, my name is Jace and this is my first time posting on this forum. I also belong to another forum but have been struggling ALOT lately with feelings an emotions so I'm seeking all the support I can get from others who will understand what it is I may be feeling.

I was only diagnosed in May with Bipolar 2 Disorder but have been struggling most of my life with severe depression. Recently things have gotten so bad that I'm more consistently having SI's and it scares me to death.

Sorry to hear you're struggling but a warm welcome to the forum! I hope you find this "place" as helpful and supportive as I have! :D
If things are getting bad I hope you reach out to your irl treatment team (pdoc) so things can get settled on the med front and you can return to baseline. *hugs* if that's alright with you

And it looked a helluva lot like my own

I have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow and then my IOP program tomorrow night. My fear is all the SIs I've been having and the fact that the lady who's in charge of the IOP program was already talking about a PHP program. I just don't think I can take that much time away from work :(

BP2 is more depressive. People that don't understand mental illness say, just be happy as if it were so easy. Depression can be crippling and ruin relationships and your life. I've found it helpful to have a good support system including family, friends, psychiatrist, psychologist/therapist, and a mental health clinic. It seems to be a genetic brain disease that is mostly helped by medicine and also by lifestyle and therapy. If you're not happy or at least stable, you're probably not on the right med or dosage.
Be kind to everyone you come across because you never know who’s suffering inside.

Let us know how it goes with your therapist tomorrow. If anything, whatever happens, the most important thing is that you be ok. I understand that life doesn't stop for us, but we just want you to be fine. Please take care of yourself.
