I'm on topamax for migraines, and abilify for my mood disorder (3mg) I missed my refill and missed a dose. Because of this I got very little sleep last night. Today I have been oddly untired and in a very weird mood. Borderline suicidal yet not suicidal. Feeling out of my mind and depressed. Could this be caused by one missed dose? I'm also fairly new to the topamax I've been on it for approx a month.

I always notice a difference if I miss a dose. When I miss two doses in a row - which I've done on occasion - I become distracted and unfocused.
Depression doesn't usually happen when a miss a dose or two, but it does sometimes occur.
I was baker acted some months back... I was given medication for the time I was in hospital.. . but I had a seven day wait when I got out to see a psychiatrist... That threw me in a deep depression for those seven days plus about a week to notice a difference in my thinking and mood once I was put back on medication.
It's best not to skip dosages obviously.
For me, missing a dose or two doesn't usually have a severe effect on me, but I do notice a difference in my thinking and mood.

I do feel differently when I miss a dose I think. Unfocused was a good way to describe it Nihilist. After several missed or reduced dosage I have experienced sharp depression. I detest taking it but have to admit it does level me out.
