I have come to face it that whoever I end up with will have to know I am bi polar, I cant hide my 7 bottles of medication the rest of my life. Finding that person who will stick by me seems like it will never happen. I found when I was undiagnosed BP1 that when I was in a relationship and something bad happened I wouldnt care . Literally would not care one bit. I have always said I waas numb. And now in my life I have this great guy that I have known since highschool and I am so scared something bad will happen I am afraid to be happy. These are the moments I wish I was numb like I was before. Being numb makes life so much better.

It's hard because finding that one person willing to stay and fight it out instead of running is rare. I got lucky when I found my wife but I was almost 30 and it was halfway across the world. I doubt you'll have to go that far, it sounds like you might have found that person already. You just have to let him in and that's the scariest part in my opinion.
When my wife and I were dating I let her in almost immediately, I didn't want to get too emotionally invested and have her do the same just to end it when she found out later. It paid off, mostly because I was in a good place at the time. When that changed she didn't run, through some pretty rought patches.
In the end it's up to you. Nothing in life worth having was ever easy to attain.

Its hard and it requires alot of work on both parts. Dont get complacent or lazy in the relationship, i know from my last marriage.
Caution, dyslexic writer ahead.
Spell check please
