I get this all the time. No one can really understand what I go through, how my mind works, the connections I see and the emotions that ebb and flow. I think I have avoided the hope that someone will understand, and this has kept me somewhat stable in a weird way. It is also strange to be stable and still have so much that is held under the surface. I feel sometimes that I have a beautiful mansion with a foundation on sand, that it is a beautiful construction without grounding. Sometimes I wonder if anybody can understand my pain of what I've gone through. Sometimes I don't want to be strong. Sometimes I want to be in the arms of someone who truly knows what it's like to go psychotic and to come back down again. I need someone who sees the same person when I am high and low. I can't reconcile the two and I don't know which one I am, or if I am a whole person at all.
