Hypomania

Ithink I had hypomania ( for the first time ) for five days ( is it possible ? ) and it was followed by two short depression episodes in two weeks. strange?
I'm a riddle so strong, you can't break me!

P.S. The depression episodes was extremely severe. I was about to kill myself...

Sorry you are getting so little feedback.
I don't think there are any rules on how long episodes of mania or depression are, just as there's no rules on how deep or high we get.

I'm glad you are still with us.
Do look after yourself, and try to connect with the people around you.
Isolation makes my episodes bleak and hopeless.
Sometimes it is a real effort, but I'm glad when I have been out for a walk and coffee with a friend.

Even connecting here on the forum helps me.
So I'm pleased to see your post.

It's not bipolar related. It's only recurrent brief depression. Well, now I know ...

" About 1/2 of patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria for RBD may have additional short episodes of brief hypomania which is a severity marker of RBD. "

What is RBD?
Bipolar I with Psychotic features; Borderline Personality disorder; GAD
Today's cocktail is: Quetiapine 100mg; Latuda 40mg; Trilafon: 8mg

Recurrent Brief Depression
a form of recurrent depression which episodes are shorter 3-4 days only, but the episodes are severe and there are about ten in a year
