Have you ever had a little hair loss as a side effect from one of your medications?
Some medications like Depakote cause this and it may not work, but I have had hair loss while on other medications and I complained to my Dr.
He told me to go to the vitamin isle and get a bottle of Sellinium. I have taken 1 pill per day and it works!
Just some advice for others watching their hair wash down the drain!

I posted a message regarding this earlier this morning. Now I can't find it anywhere, and the bookmark I made to it doesn't work. I'm not sure why they would have erased it. What a waste of time.
Anyway, to sum up what I was asking (it wasn't exactly a short post): Does the hair loss from Epival (a.k.a. Depakote in The States) look like normal, male-pattern hair loss or is it more wide-spread all over the head? Do the hairs just fall out or do the hair shafts become thinner each time they grow out of the scalp until they virtually disappear like in male-pattern hair loss?
Thanks for your time. I think that what I'm experiencing is unrelated to the medication (it seems to be quite gradual), but I just want to make sure.
