depakote causing head bobbing???

I am new to this forum. I was hoping to get experiences from others who have been on this drug.
I have been on Depakote now for about 8 months. I gained 10 pounds in 2weeks and my appetite was unstoppable. This seems to have tapered off but I continue to suffer from horrible tremors in my hands which I know is common. Lately I have caught my head bobbing when I am relaxed. Nobody else has noticed this. I notice it when I am watching t.v. and I catch it. Anyone else have this bizarre side effect from Depakote? I am on other meds but since this one seems to cause tremors I am targeting it first.

I am not on Depakote but get med tremors including a slight head tremor at times- I dont think others have noticed it but I definitely do. It has improved a bit on beta blockers but is not totally gone

I was recently put on depakote and my whole body has bad BAD tremors.I can't write my name right or anything. wow. I thought it was only me.

It might be worth asking your Dr about beta blockers like propanolol. I had awful tremors and it does help a lot - not totally but I am way better.
