Please talk to someone. There are lots of people in your life who wish they knew and can talk to you because they care about you. Please!

Hi

The firt thing I would say is that if you feel you are in imminent danger of hurting yourself please go to the ER/A&E and ask for help - your safety is the mot important thing when managing thoughts like this. I would also suggest you tell your Dr and/or therapist how you are feeling. Keeping this stuff hidden fromthem does not end well in my experience. i think those are the main things I would suggest as if you are having suicidal thoughts it is an indication that you need to get some more help and input that what you have atm so I think reaching out and asking for professional help is the most important thing to do. You may want to tell others too tho be prepared for their reaction but telling your team is really important as is attending hospital if you dont feel you are safe

Take good care

Suicidal thoughts are a real serious indicator that we need help.
If you are struggling with a plan and are all alone, going to the Emergency Room of the local hospital is a safe and wise step.
Is there a responsible person in your life that you can talk to about your thoughts without freaking them out?
If you are all alone, can you call a friend and visit them?

I want you to understand that whatever your situation, suicide is not the solution.

If you are not quite ready to go to the Emergency room, is there a Crisis Line that you can call and unload some of your burden? Where I live, we can find the Crisis Line phone number right under the emergency numbers for fire, police and ambulance on the first page of the phone book.

And finally, stay connected here, on the forum.
We may be strangers, but we genuinely care about everyone who posts here.
I want to know how you are feeling tomorrow, and the day after.

Don't dispair. Reach out. There are caring people out here that want to connect with you.

Take Care,
It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"

Well this is my own way of dealing with the suicidal toughts. I rarely discuss them with family or friends. I only mention for my doctor its there. The only way for me is to accept the "dark passanger" is around and bother me again. For me there is no help when these periods come. Doctor wants to give me a pill that make it worse a few weeks before it gets better. So my bottom line is to just not try to fight it, just accept the period and think of something else. Computer games is my cure to distract them.

when I have these thoughts, and I have enough insight, I go straight to Accident and Emergency at the local hospital. One time when I was really bad I rang the local police station (I live in a small town) and they came over and took me to the hospital.
