Suicidal thoughts are a real serious indicator that we need help.
If you are struggling with a plan and are all alone, going to the Emergency Room of the local hospital is a safe and wise step.
Is there a responsible person in your life that you can talk to about your thoughts without freaking them out?
If you are all alone, can you call a friend and visit them?
I want you to understand that whatever your situation, suicide is not the solution.
If you are not quite ready to go to the Emergency room, is there a Crisis Line that you can call and unload some of your burden? Where I live, we can find the Crisis Line phone number right under the emergency numbers for fire, police and ambulance on the first page of the phone book.
And finally, stay connected here, on the forum.
We may be strangers, but we genuinely care about everyone who posts here.
I want to know how you are feeling tomorrow, and the day after.
Don't dispair. Reach out. There are caring people out here that want to connect with you.
Take Care,
It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"
