I'm also on lithium 900 mg, Lamotrigine 75 mg and risperidone 0.75 mg, the latter has worked better since decreasing the dosage so I don't feel like a zombie. I'm also now on haloperidol but I don't think it's a mood stabilizer but it was more given due to some auditory hallucinations that seem to be gone now. I think they're doing their job, I hate that now I take 6 pills just for my psychiatric conditions (I also take clonazepam and modafinil) without considering my colon and allergies, but hey, whatever gets you through the day. I've had some good days and bad days but I haven't been to too many extremes, and I actually feel fine with almost no side effects and I can function everyday which is a blessing. I'm just jealous of people who mostly take an aspirin when they have a headache and their only "drug" is coffee. So to answer your question combining mood stabilizers seems to be the norm here.
