Hey, I'm seeing Metallica late March, it would be my first time! I also have like 5 more concerts booked this year. I'm seeing Metallica, Capital Cities, going to Lollapalooza where I want to see Arcade Fire mainly, then HIM, Paradise Lost and Thisrty Seconds to Mars. And that's only up to May! Live music is my passion.

Metallica. What a band to see in concert I would love to see Aerosmith Live. Thirty Seconds To Mars is phenomenal. You will enjoy them live. I honestly enjoy their music live more so than the norm.

When I was younger I used to create mixed CD's that were designed to change my mood and would label them "Anger to depression" or "Depressed to happy" etc.
My musical tastes as all over the place, but I think my main genre if I had to pick one would be more of an "alternative/indie" type style. My favorite band is called Neutral Milk Hotel but I have something from probably every genre on my computer for music.

Not much dubstep though-lol

I've got Garbage - Only Happy When It Rains frequently playing in my head. That just oddly fits both sides, kinda. And twists of my personality too. Might as well call it Lanka -themesong. >>;

What an interesting topic!
I find music (like many of you) can trigger my moods.
I once had a week long manic episode after playing the "Danger Days" album from My Chemical Romance over and over.

That was the time when I had a big red mohawk. I was having so much fun I took my top off and danced and sang with every word. And when Cherry Lips came on, and Shirley dedicated it "to all the freaks", she walked towards me during the bridge part, locked eyes with me and we pretty much sang it at each other. When the bridge ended she moved on and my knees went very, very soft -- by gods talk about "intense". For this half a minute all the people disappeared and it was just me and her in the entire hall. Not an experience I could ever forget.

When I get depressed I listen to Pink Floyd's The Wall album. I can really identify with it.
