Topamax

Has anyone else taken Topamax? I was on 200 mg. and had extreme tingling in the hands and feet. I started waking up in the middle of the night with my feet feeling like needles were poking me a million times over. We ended up backing down to 100 mg. and the needle feeling has stopped. Has anyone else experienced this? From the little Ive looked around and read, Topamax doesnt seem to be a common choice.

I have not been on this. What I would say tho is that there are a lot of different drug alternatives if you do encounter problems again it might be worth asking your Dr about options. Hope things remain settled for you now.

Cracked

I have heard everyone else also complain about Topamax. I have been on it myself and experienced really bad hallucinations (auditorial and visually) and brain fogs all the time.

Lowering the dose fixed the issue. Thank goodness.
