Hi everyone, it's been so long since I used this forum. Little bit of background, I am bipolar II and was noticing some fantastic changes with the help of lithium. Life wasn't perfect but I felt better and I was coping. My husband and I had been trying for our third baby after having 2 miscarriages within 12 months. We currently have 2beautiful little boys. I am so excited to finally be pregnant again and have been liaising with my psychologist in regards to the possible side effects of my meds. Following his instructions, I have now been off my meds for approx 3 weeks and I have noticed such a huge change. My husband I are distant and not getting along, I'm succeeding at work but not enjoying and appreciating the time I get with my children. I wish I knew how to control myself better without meds because I know my baby will be much healthier without them, but I fear I am letting my older children down fort he sake of my new one. Any advise would be truly appreciated, I feel completely lost.

Are there other things that you're doing for your overall wellness? Eat, sleep, diet/exercise? light box? aroma therapy? Since you can't take medications at the moment due to your pregnancy, perhaps trying to amp up the intensity of some more homeopathic things for wellness?

I am sleeping ALOT lately, I am doing my best to eat healthy however I do not currently have time to exercise and unfortunately I don't really have a good understanding of the homeopathic remedies or their effectiveness.

Perhaps that would be a good thing to talk to your doctor about? Or starting some research on the net/at the library?
