loneliness

Postby bipolarbirdie » Tue Feb 25, 2014 3:59 am

Hubby came around today and we went out for lunch together. We got talking about loneliness since I realised he must get lonely at work. He told me he even feels lonely around his friends sometimes, if they are talking about something he is outside of.

I reflected on my own loneliness, at times in my life. Sometimes loneliness happens even when you are surrounded by people; if they don't get you, or if you see someone acting or behaving in a way that you never would. It's a sad, painful sort of feeling.

It's like there's this compulsive need for socialisation.

At times I wish we could have a dog. Our circumstances don't allow it right now though :(

Loneliness is difficult for sure and def can happen when there are other ppl around. Could you have a cat? I find mine is a great source of company and helps when I feel on my own.

And there you go describing every day of my life.

Good friends; before I'd had said few, now its more like one, and even he lives in another city.. And with both having lots of stuff to do, there's quite limited timeframe to catch up&play together.

Classmates.. seem to more like tolerate my presence at this point. :<

I don't understand how some people are so social and outgoing that after a week or two in new town they'll have dozens of new friends.. *Sigh. With a 'thump' of head hitting a table.*

Soon as science catches up to scifi and starts to make gynoids, I'll buy one just so I can hug it all day long.

Meds? Went feral. So far nothing has given me the equal of highs on daily basis.

I know one of those people. "Friends" is a big word. Mates perhaps or acquientances. But for me being friends means years of knowing each other. I have a few friends but a lot, lot of mates. It didn't take weeks, but years as well.
Currently working on my upcoming signature.
