Spring is just around the corner.

Postby skilsaw » Fri Feb 21, 2014 2:11 am

Today I lay down on a sheet of cardboard to not get wet from the grass while I took pictures of snow drops - beautiful little spring flowers. But I was unable to paste a picture into this note.
Spring isn't too far away.

Take care,
It is not always possible to make someone's discomfort go away.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do is resist the urge to fix it and instead just say, "You, too?"

While your post is beautiful, the comment "Spring is just around the corner" and "Spirng isn't too far away" sounds so ominous to me. That is a big time of mood instability for me. I really hope that this year isn't too bad... :?

Yup, I'll most probably be depressed for about 4 weeks.

I am very much looking forward to it also skilsaw. Winter is the most difficult for me with my moods. I like going outside to do projects and find things to fix.

I do wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better in spring and summer so I am really thankful that we are getting there. I saw snowdrops today too - they were lovely. I really hope that it is OK for those of you for whom this is a struggle. And for those who struggle with winter well done for getting through it - or hopefully at least the worst of it. It is getting lighter in the evenings too which for me is wonderful. Here's hoping to a lovely and healthy spring for us all.

There's one, and only one time I don't mind sitting in direct sunlight, and that's during high flying hypo episode.. My classmates joked that next year they'd forge my exchange request and put all the southern Europe's sunny countries to options, because I supposedly should love the sun. Apparently because "everyone loves sun".. yah, not. One of the most horrible places to spend one's vacation would be on a beach. :p

Thing is I don't know why I get depressed. I suspect it's time change again. I love the sun, the smell of spring, the explosion of greenery, being able to wear more clothes. It's just that it f***s me up. :/

It doesn't depress me per se (other than obvious couples walking hand in hand etc :p), I just love end of summer/fall more. Pretty colors, rain, more rain, rain with side on thunder.. Valid reasons to go walk in forest; I just can't drag myself to have a walk for no reason, however walking few km up and down hills in forest looking for mushrooms is great.

..and something I can't do at spring. :<

And with spring comes uncertainty of how I'm supposed to manage my finances during summer months. Or what am I even going to do at summer..
