I know you aren't doctors but I just wanted to ask does this sound like bi-polar to you.
My friends goes through these suicidal lows
she says she hates everyone and everything.
at other times she can be as high as kite without intoxication.
sometimes little things send her into a flying rage.
she sounds like she goes a hundred miles an hour. next she is wide eyed bouncing around.
but most of the time she is on these lows.
a few months ago she ended up in hospital for a suicide attempt
she just constantly jumps everywhere with her moods without warning!
I just want to get her some help and I don't want to do anything to misinformed

I feel it's important to respect her privacy. If you want to help, then just be her friend.

I mean I'm not going to get her carted off I just want to go into the situation misinformed. I've been talking to her about the possibility of a mental condition but she flips out at me.
I guess she'll get the help when she is ready.
I'll stick by her make sure she is alright. so she doesn't end up in hospital again.

I think it is difficult to say what is going on with your friend.
What I would say tho is that mood lability does not necessarily mean BP - a lot of ppl can have unstable moods without having BP and bouncing around all over the place with mood changes does not always mean that it is mood disorder.
I think it is likely that the Drs will have considered mood disorder tho I cannot say for sure.
You clearly care about your friend so I think the best thing to do is be there for her as a friend and as someone she can talk to

I was under the impression that she was already getting the help she needed. She's been to the hospital and is probably being treated outpatient.
Her flipping out at you is what I'm talking about about respecting her privacy.

Very well said.
If she is bringing you down, it would not be shameful of you to back away. I'd hate to know that people who are close to me, hell, even acquaintances were talking about me and my crazies behind my back.
If she has been hospitalized for a suicide attempt then there has been a diagnosis by a professional. You can do just like any of us and google what the symptoms of the disorder are and see if it fits her.
