is this common?

Hi me again,

Just an add on to my post regarding my bp boyfriend.

Is it common when they have lost a job or a home to run away to someone for a roof over their head, regardless of loving them or not. Its just I always get the impression that is what my boyfriend does, because he seems to come back when he has saved enough money or got a job or home etc. He always seems to make up where he has been too (on a friends seattee, with a friends parents etc, anything that doesn't add up)

Do you think he thinks the grass is greener? I wouldnt be making such a fuss about his behaviour but he has been in my life for 10 years. I am sure he plays around but is so convincingly in love with me.

I am just wanting to understand this a bit more. Still no word from him. I should just forget him instead of fretting I know. I am to old to cope with this sort of stuff. Especially over Christmas/ New year.
