Feel so angry at the world.

Feeling so angry and upset at the world especially at people who have minor problems yet complain like hell. Isnt it enough that the world ###$ over my life with the bipolar 1 without giving my beautiful little girl moderate functioning Autisim. My poor angel. Worse yet my stinking Sil pretends her neice has got and that its worse than my little girl. Her niece speaks and behaves perfectly fine my little girl is nearly 4 and still doesnt speak she cant leave the house for more than 30 minutes without screaming crying and self harming what the ###$ is so glamourous about mypoor little girls life that you want to pretend to have it.

Yes, it's almost impossible to avoid being angry at the world. My daughter is the spitting image of me at her age personality-wise so I feel she probably will have the same problems as me. It's terrible that the world is so constraining and often unfair. I totally relate with what you are saying.

Huge hugs hon - I am sorry you and your daughter are going through this. Do you think you could work on having a sh1t shield. This is a way of letting things ppl say that make you angry reflect off you and not get to you. Imagine a reflective shield that wont let anything through and makes bad stuff bounce off it. It sounds silly but it can help - I imagine it when my family are making me angry. It soudns like you have plenty to be angry about. It can get exhausting. I hope that things improve for you soon hon

Thanks both Cracked I definetly need one of those, I try not talking about my little girls problems with sil but she keeps bringing it up I usually sit and listen for a hour while she goes on and on about how her neice is worse her neice maybe unwell im not a pychiatrist and wouldnt really guess but if she is I dont think it should be used in a my dog is blacker than yours I will have to practise my sh1t sheild for our next conversation.

Zephyr I am so sorry you worry about your little girl I hope things turn out good, as a parent its horrid when we cant protect them from hurt I also feel relieved you and cracked understand why I feel so angry at the moment, its just hard soetimes. Hey, my heart goes out to you, it's especially hard this time of year. Some of the things I think about, especially when I see more functional families is quite depressing. It's good though to also try to focus on the positive. While we may not be able to protect them from this, we still have love and love is a powerful thing. Just love with all your heart and things will work out.

Hey Crawling, hugs. My little five year old boy has sensory processing disorder, muscle rigidity and speech delays, we had to keep him back a year in preschool as he could not go into kindy, likely he will go into a self contained kindy. He gets occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy every week. It certainly is rough and you definitely don't need someone, especially a family member, making comparisons, plain stupidity. My heart goes out to you, I know we battle with our son but I consider ourselves very lucky. Its just so heartbreaking to see our littlies in pain and struggling when other kids are developing "normally". Anyway i really want to say "I care".

Thanks mary my little girl also cannot attend school she has to attend a special autism school howetver there wont be a place till september she also has occupational therapy and speech therapy weekly and communicates with cards(pecs) SIL complaines as my little girl gets therapy on the nhs (uk) but the nhs say there is nothing wrong so she cant get therapy but she says this is because her neice is worse so they are lying as they cant deal with her difficulties. I am sad to hear about your little boy its hard coping with a child who has special needs if you have a perfect life never mind if you also have bipolar.

Good luck with the sh1t shield - they can be pretty awesome Sounds like your SIL is a pain in the extreme.
