Postby Bettyboop » Mon Dec 10, 2012 3:23 pm

Rispiridone

At what dose did you take them?

What were your experiences?

Thanks

Lithium - 900 to 1200 mg/day. Experiences - sluggish, fuzzy thinking, psychotic dreams, sense of disconnection from reality. I basically didn't react well to this medication. Getting on it sucked and getting off of it sucked. In-between, it wasn't as bad, but it still sucked.

I have had lithium (600 mg AM and 300mg PM). Basically I have dry mouth, blurry vision in the morning. I couldn't go up any on the dosage because I started to have really bad tremors, so bad I couldn't even pick up my pills anymore.
You say I'm always happy & I'm good at what I do, but what you'll never realize is I'm a Damn good actress too.

Risperidone, 2mg/day: Mostly just made me drowsy after I took it, didn't really notice any therapeutic effect from the daily dosage. I also would take 0.5mg/PRN for these agitated/mixed sorta moods I get, and it did help to calm those which was nice.

I had tried a low dose of Risperidone for about a week. Did not go well with me. I became even more dissociated than usual, colours and vision swirling, got wicked suicidal thoughts/urges. I quickly stopped taking it as soon as the suicidal urges appeared.

Everyone responds differently to medication though. Shouldn't even need to be said at this point, lol, as it's obvious evidenced by the people on this forum.

Lithium-I don't remember the dosage, it caused me to shake really bad, had to go off of it
Risperidone-2mg, cured the OCD thoughts/feelings that I was having, overall very helpful
Amisuperide- Not approved for use in the US, so I've never been on it.

There was a thread where many people listed the meds that they've been on. you may want to browse that
