Weight loss suggestion

Postby stuart001 » Tue Dec 20, 2005 10:44 am

Hi everyone;

Just found this site and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what a good diet program might be for me? I am 40 years old and somewhat active, but I am carrying 80 extra pounds on me. I am a single mother, my husband died 6 months ago and I don't really have money to spend on programs that charge fees or dues. I am currently looking for a job, but that has been slow going as well. Someone suggest me to take a Phentermine Diet pills. Is it ok to take a Phentermine drug without prescription or I need to consult with my doctor before take it.

Thanks for listening.

Hi,
Im sorry to hear about your husband.
About the pills, I think you should consult your GP first, just to be on the safe side, you know. And about the diet, I think you should just eat healthily, no junk food (ok well maybe the odd burger once a year!) and like you said your active so that's good. So just do a lot of excersise, it will be good if you enjoy it. But, if that really doesn't work out, maybe the Atkins diet, i know some experts have said it's no good, but I think you should give it a try. But first of all just try the healthy eating and excersise thing for 6 months or something.
Good luck and have a great xmas!
