I think what you need (and I myself too because I have the same trouble sometimes) is to train a replacement behavior, a behavior that replaces and prevents the binge. for example, sometimes when I get the urge to binge, I do sit-ups or jumping jacks instead. this helps me to focus on what is important: I want to be healthy. plus after you get your heart rate going, you have much less of an urge to eat. OR if you really want food, take a set amount. for example, get an apple and a glass of water. or a little snack bag of pretzels. once you start this replacement for a while it will become routine and you'll start feeling better about yourself. good habits are just as hard to break as bad ones!

I feel for you - you have a disorder (just like the rest of us!) and replapses happen. You can easily get back into eating healthy if you learn from this experience rather than panic about it ruining everything. It has not ruined anything. The weight gain you have seen is mostly water weight, and will subside within the next week. What you can do is examine everything leading up to your binge, what happened, how you were feeling, and learn from it. Learn from the fact that the binge made you feel so terrible and you regreted it so much. Next time you have the overwhelming urge to binge, you will remember how you felt and maybe you'll deal with it in a more productive way. This is true progress with your disorder.
