That is usually the best option: to 'just leave it'. That's how I managed to overcome Bulimia a few years ago. It did obviously resurface, however!

you were bulimic huh?.i sometimes wish i was...i know a little nuts..but then i could get rid of the food....i choose to spit...dont have the balls to puke it out...but then the guilt of either method would be too much so i just swallow it...
man its such a simple thing..food...i mean..and it gets so complex...theres nothing to it...supposed to be like water for the plants....as simple as that...but it gets so complicated.....it...or we....
today wasnt too bad though...seemed ok.......

Well, I vary between being Bulimic and just bingeing. You don't have to vomit the food up to be labelled Bulimic by the way. When you are Bulimic, you feel great guilt for eating something and then you 'purge' to counteract what you ate. A purge can be anything such as starvation, rigorous exercise, or - indeed - vomitting.

Don't worry about posting twice. If you really want, I can delete the duplicate permanently or I can leave it there... ...?

Yep, taking laxatives would be included. I read somewhere that a purge is 'any abnormal response to a binge'. So, I guess it could include the ones we've already mentioned, plus things such as cutting [yourself], drinking copous amounts of water, etc.. My experience of taking laxatives is that they make you feel worse! Plus, I pretty much used every pharmacy in my local area in the city so that neither one would get suspicious!

oh ya that would be good...thank you!

i guess none of the terms are stable...and in that case that there can't be any single defintion to purging...
i'll take the tip on laxatives...i think i've purged in other ways in this case...the negative effect seems present in all directions...

later kevin!
