I found a way out.

Postby A girl like me » Mon Aug 10, 2015 5:14 pm

Hi guys,

I suffered from binge eating for 5 years and in all honesty occasionally still binge but no where near to the extent I used to and I'm not binging the same amount of food. I think I still binge because I have bpd and I am very impulsive but it's not the same as before, anyway I tried everything and couldn't seem to get my way out. However there is a book which did wonders and actually gave me a way out a way to actually see binging for what it is and to gain control over what I'm doing. The book is called brain over binge by Kathryn Hansen. I can't recommend this book enough I honestly don't think I would of found my way out if it wasn't for this book. Apologies if this book has already been talked about I just joined and thought I must share how I managed to leave behind that part of my life. Good luck to all of you and hold on to everyone suffering this terrible cycle.

I'm going to check this out - I have bpd too and I have major problems with binge eating. Thank you for sharing the book suggestion!
