Any success stories on weight loss?.. Im desperate

I wont say how much I weigh because I do not think it is allowed, I will say I want to loose about *mod edit* and I would say I am *mod edit* overweight for my height, I am a tall guy so I carry my weight well but that is not the point, I am unhappy with my weight.. I have recently gave up on an alcohol addiction and have also given up smoking.. I am trying to sort my life out and my weight issue is my next goal,
Pizza and sandwiches are my weakness, unfortunately due to mental health issues I am off work so I do not do much activity during the day and I probably eat too much for the activity I do.

Has anyone had any any weight loss achievements? and how did you do it..

Congrats on your steps to remedy alcohol addiction and giving up smoking. That's wonderful.

I don't know that I have any weight loss advice to offer, but I do wish you luck. Is it possible to seek support from your doctor or a nutritionist? Just to make sure you're going about this safely.
