This topic interests me. Wouldn't you get bored if the sub was too obedient? I would have thought the excitement would come from over-powering them (within the law), rather than them just being compliant? A bit like if you were playing someone at a sport - I would get more pleasure from beating the person if they were a strong opponent rather than just surrendering to me.

Depends. Some people do like having to fight their sub for the power, some don't. My ex-girlfriend was also a sub and she liked the idea of having to be forced but I wasn't so into that, I just like obedience

i see your point, but my fantasy is sexual slavery and a slave is obedient; i don't have to force it to do what i want. if i do, then it's not a very good slave. i am aroused by having someone behave submissively voluntarily and liking it. there's something special about having someone gratefully accept degradation and pain.

however, genuine fear can also be exciting.
