Has anyone ever heard of any professionals that specialize (or know anything about AvPD)? I would like a diagnosis, but despite all my research I can't find anyone.
Also, has anyone been "offically" diagnosed by a professional as having AvPD? I don't know what to do/say in order to convince my doctor that this is real and is a HUGE problem in my life.

No, sorry i dont know of a doctor that specializes in AvPD and i havent been diagnosed either. I would think that your best bet would be to go from doctor to doctor until you found one that would actually listen to you and knew what AvPD was. Good luck.
