Hey guys, I'm running a website/forum for people with AvPD and those who need advice regarding AvPD. My website/forum has a number of customizations just for avoidants. For example, there is a subsection for fantasies, where very brave and daring avoidants can post what they daydream about, what kind of fantasies they have about other people. Avoidants above all other personality disorders retreat into their own imagination as much as possible. This is because they fantasize about people doing things that make them feel appreciated, because they feel worthless.
Another example is the drug section, where users can talk about their usage of recreational drugs, street drugs, psychiatric drugs, and so on.
There is an introduction section where you can post your stories.
I will be constantly watching the forum for trolls and -- to be blunt -- mean people, so that avoidants aren't scared from the site. Even slight criticisms can make avoidants feel worthless and self-conscious for weeks, and major criticisms (e.g., being screamed at by a customer) can follow them for years. I have a section of the site dedicated to being criticized and feeling self-conscious, too.
Please post there and make suggestions. Thanks.
