Diagnosis by a professional is often barely distinguishable from self-diagnosis anyway. If you've spent just five minutes reading about a few different disorders and conditions you can tell what every question is pointing to and answer according to the diagnosis you want. There's not much reason to believe that people are more honest with professionals than with themselves, so I don't see the practical importance of the distinction for a forum such as this.

It´s a pity because the sooner you start, the better. Anyway you could look for information in the net. Perhaps, there is a professional with a foundation who can help. Here, in my country, there is one who help young people who can´t afford a treatment. Can you count with your parents help?

We are talking about depression. Even a shell could talk about it.

Ive talked to my mom a couple times, but she has her money problems as well, and alot of stressers in her life. She might be as down as i am, so i try not to cause any problems or add to the stress. and i have a clinic here that has a sliding pay type deal where its based off of what you make. but that still costs money. So im pretty much on my own trying to deal with this.
