You can be both. According to some sources, Avoidant PD is a secondar symptom of Asperger's Syndrome/Autism. Take a look here too: post339506.html

You could have some sort of anxiety disorder. Don't diagnose yourself, see a professional.

Those are two very serious labels to put on yourself. I don't know what degree of self-awareness you have developed/gained through introspection and interaction, but judging solely on the length of your post, I'd be much more hesitant to jump on either label.
