As a something who was treated throughout life like a dog, I always thought it would be so much better if I ran away and become a homeless vagrant. That way you don't have to bother yourself with losing things you don't really have and can be totally free of everything. Life would be an exciting adventure of looking for enough food to survive and avoiding getting killed by gangsters and other psychos that roam the street past midnight.
Well I didn't do it, and now I'm still waiting for the right opportunity to kick the @$$ of the people who made me (or should I say did not make me) what I am today.
Your brain may think that people have absolute authority over your being, but objectively speaking they have control over nothing, not even themselves.

True. We're all cogs in a giant machine of pain.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
