Even MORE bad news - lost my job

They found a way to get rid of me. They decided to cut positions by eliminating my whole department. I supervised 2 full time people and 5 part time people. We're all done.

I bet any money they will find a nice cozy position for her somewhere. That's the way it works - if you have friends in the right places you are all set. What a freaking bad freaking year. Bad foot, bad worker, bad kneee, bad teeth, dead cat, suspended from job, let go from job.

$#%^! I don´t know what to tell you. I´m sorry so much, my friend. It´s a desperate situation. Does the goverment gives any unemployed pension? At least, this could help you for some time while you find another job.

My avpd strategy has always been not to think about these things. I would get months worth of unemployment benifits I'm sure. I'm not sure how much I get or for how long. I may also be able to bump someone out of their job in the organization. Great, huh? But there are a lot of no good lazy butts. I wouldn't mind taking a job from some bozo. I will get a letter soon that will tell me what my rights are. Right now I am contacting former bosses and some avocates. Lots of people are upset that they are closing my place down. It is a great program for the mental health clients. It's also a major kick in the head to them. They could even work there as occupational therapy. How are you supposed to go out in the world and get a job after being locked up? It sure helps if you have been working while you're locked up. Heck, people in prison have a better deal.

Lots of people are really upset by this. Right now I am doing my best to be a political activist. It's not easy at all.
