Too f-ed up to post

Postby Parador » Mon Oct 12, 2009 7:08 pm

Someone wrote to me and asked why I am not posting. No, I do not have my job back. Still suspended untill at least early Novemnber. I'm too f-ing messed up and angry to post. I have a bad foot - neuroma that I'm getting injections for. Limping on it is leading to a bad knee so now I'm wearing a knee brace.

And now my crowns are getting really bad. My tongue is burning up. Now I have to find yet ANOTHER dentist and pay him $5000 with the HOPE that he will not fukk me over like the last three. I saw my old dentist in a superpages listing. It had a GLOWING review of the asshole. I wrote my own review but it hasn't been posted:

He is the worst, most uncaring dentist I have ever encountered. He gave me veneers but never told me there was acrylic in the cement even though I told him I was allergic to acrylic. A year later my mouth was burning up and he finally told me there was acrylic in the veneer cement. I then asked him to remove them. He wouldn't do it even though I was in SEVERE pain. I finally had to write to the manufacturer of the cement myself. They told me it was possible to have an allergic reaction to the cement. I put that in a complaint to the Dental Society. It was only then, a whole YEAR later, that he agreed to take them off. He agreed to do the work at a discount, but he ruined the crowns he put on by shaving away at the back of them. Then he put in a horrible set of metal crowns. I ended up paying him more than $20,000 over a period between 2006 and 2008 and I was still in severe pain. I'm STILL in pain and may have to have the teeth removed.

After a YEAR the licensing board is investigating the creep. I got a copy of his statement from his lawyer. It is a PACK OF LIES. He says I showed no allergic reaction and never reported any. Then he says it's totally unclear about what my problem was and that I said I had an adverse reaction to the non-acrylic cement sample he gave me and NOT the acrylic one. Now it may be his word against mine because no other doc or dentist wrote down in the chart what I said. I KNOW I told my allergist but he moved accross the country. If he didn't chart it this butcher ill get away with his lies.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

What can I say... ...bad press is shoved under the rug when it suits people. Given the chance, that dentistry service would only be too happy to diss dirt on anyone else's ass though. But look, after all has been said and done, it's difficult to actually remember why you came to this website in the first place, Parador, but this post of yours right here brings it all back. You put on such a brave face most of the time, but here you are in a right 'ould state, as we say in Ireland. I don't quite know what practical advice I can offer you because I don't know the ins and outs of your system over there (regarding work, courts, etc), but you can be assured that I at kleast care about you and am feeling a little sad right now to see you this way.

I noticed you were gone, the forums have been very slow without you. I can't really give you any helpful advice, but I am sorry to hear of your foot and knee. Anyways, it is nice to hear from you at least a little :) .
Don’t tell me I cannot go
With a wound that refuses to mend
Deliver me from all of this
I want you to quicken my end

Don’t say it isn’t so
I’m on a path that you’ll never comprehend
Set me free from all of this
I need you to quicken my end

:( I've missed your posts too. Sorry you're having such a hard time with everything. I hope you'll be able to find a dentist who knows what he/she's doing soon.

And that's why I believe in you

I know what a physical problem could mean for an avoidant. It could be a chain and it´s obviously much more difficult to overcome because of our pesimism.
So, Parador, don´t worry about posting. You have to solve your problems, my friend. This is the most important now. Be strong.

Eric's point is very good actually. Parador, if you think about it: You didn't feel like posting but you still came here. So, at least you know where you can feel 'loved' and such. You know (I think) that i'd give up my life just to know that you're happy. That's the level of importance I give to your situation. i have no need for comfort or life, because I have little going for me I feel. I want to know that you're doing good and fighting hard against all of the 'crooks' in the world dude.
