Who wrote that?; and do you guys use that 'shitfaced' term over there? It started to be used in Ireland within the past few years, so Im now thinking that it emigrated from the US to Ireland somehow (which is odd because everything Irish usually goes to America, and not in the opposite direction).

Who wrote what? The PoF post was written by my personna fakefella. I don't drink but he does. The part about getting blocked is true. I don't remember exactly what I wrote and I can't read it because she blocked me. She has no sense of humor!
The shitfaced expression is faily new I think. I don't remember it being around 10 years ago. I wonder who invented it and when. These expresions are interesting. Maybe I should go on PoF and ask if anyone knows where and when that epresion was first used. Or maybe it's in Wikipedia? I'll check later.

I first heard that term in high school. That was late 70's early 80's in Canada. Maybe Canadians invented it.

Interesting... ...it's such a strange term to use for being drunk though, don't you agree? I mean, when some people are drunk, does it look like their is faeces on their face? ACtually, come to think about it, some people do look like that; only the seasoned drunkards though. there were a few old people in ireland whose faces were bright red and had dark 'streaks' on it, which could be mistaken for faeces. lol

I agree...it is a strange term. It was usually shortened to 'faced when used. As in "I was soooo 'faced last night".
Snot-hangin' drunk is another funny one. Not to see, but to say.

Maybe it is Canadian. I don't remember anyone using that expression here until maybe 10 years ago.
And they deletded faefella's thread about it. At least fakefella is still there.

This one. I don't see what's wrong with it.
When you can't remember what you said
Anyone ever have that happen? It happens to me every once in a while. I was pretty shiitfaced the other day and sent a message to a hot asian. I can't remember exactly what I said. Maybe it was bad and maybe it wasn't. I can't read the message because she blocked me. Looks like you can't read stuff you send after being blocked. That's kinda the way it works in person too. I can't even remember the number of times I've gone out for drinks with a woman and found her not talking to me later. I try to think back on the conversation. And I can't remember what I said there either!
Should I just start carrying a voice recorder with me now? Those digital ones look pretty good. I don't want to spend $300 on one unless I have to though. Anyone got any better ideas?
