Lots of people don't even know what avpd is. They could have it and just think it's social anxiety. You are probably likey to find people with avpd in a social anxiety group.

Butterfly Faerie wrote:doing a search on support forums etc for avpd, there are quite a few stuff out there, mailing lists, boards etc.... so people are talking about it, looking for others who've dealt with it too.... I didn't think there was that much info etc out there for those with this, but there is quite a bit.

If you guys want any links I can look them up for you, wouldn't be hard to find again.

I have the Spanish link but I don´t think this could be very useful for you!

I wish you all live here! 8)

I did it. I wrote very clear that I have a husband (a little lie). my age (37). I don´t want any surprise. Let´s see the replays.

Good idea. But that still won't stop some guys. Better to say you're 57 and weigh 300 pounds. Also that you have oozing pustules all over your body. That should keep most of the horn dogs away.

I'm going to have to try that as a fake PoF profile at some point! Disgusting but willing could be my headline.

I don´t understand you! Do you mean that I´m being a bit rude or pedant? Sure, I am. But, I told about a guy who e-mailed me from a close city and he first said that he lived very closed, then he said that he lived in the North. I gave him some points to make the therapy exposure and when he asked me for a date, I said "yes", but I wrote him clearly that I have a partner. I even talked about him. So, he never replayed, anymore. What´s the issue if he only wanted to participate in a therapy group?
