Seriously, Eric, while your idea may prove to be more effective in hurting someone than my casual insensitivity (which is the equivalent of poking someone with a twig), it is just too bothersome to actually do it. That's what I actually find admirable about antisocials, that they have the drive to do such things.

That's fine, and you are welcome to continue this thread along the lines that it currently is [on], but I think that you'd all do much better to take a few steps back and put yourselves in the shoes of the other person. Who knows, it could be fun to pretend that you're actually somebody you dislike. Give it a shot.

No-one really likes getting involved in arguments, and I certainly don't like it when someone complains to me because they've become upset by an argument that they weren't even involved in. People on this website are very vulnerable, and they will become hurt by the negativity that has been seen here. By now, I know that some of yuo are probably laughing at me, and please continue to do so, because that should at least serve to release some of that pent-up anger in you.

Well Pep, he is saying what he is doing is the equivalent of poking us with twigs. And he KNOWS that avoidants are highly sensitive. But anyone is going to get mad at being poked with a twig over and over. Go try it. Go up to someone on the street and poke him with a twig over and over. See what it gets you.

Maybe I am poking you to pop the little safe bubble you are all hiding in pitying yourself because you suck and everyone is mean to you. You just suck as much as you think you do. So stop thinking it.

And just to help you picture it, if my insensitivity were to be the equivalent of poking, then Eric's idea would be the equivalent of becoming your friend and then slamming a sledgehammer in your face. So which one do you prefer? ^^
