I have had only one flake.
I am at my first visit with him and here are
the topics he brings up:
1. What church do I belong to?
2. Politics in the Middle East.

OK I have never had a psych bring those up, and on the
very FIRST visit?

I " trained" him for about 8 wks and then went on to a real live
one of the best I have ever had psych. Hi Dr. U. ! :D

What about this visualizacion exercises? I heard that there are people that with a continuos visualization of these things she/he wants, they get that´s what they are visualizing once and again.
It sounds to me as a kind of magic! It doesn´t make sense.

Can you explain a bit more about it?


I´m happy for you. ten beers in a row is a stupid things to do.

i think the best way i understand it is that we have negative thoughts and visualise those anyway...if we are worried about something we visualise it going wrong or just bad things happening, and then it goes how we thought it would. i think the idea is the same but using positive images or things we want to happen, if we think about these and visualise these then they are whats gonna happen. make any sense?

Yes, Ult. It´s like re-programing your brain. In a chapter of the books, I´m reading now, is explained how we have to get ready some possitive thoughts to offset the negative ones. Each person will have their own.
