Did you see the movie Transamerica? Was that an accurate description of the deal? I saw a special on public TV about it too. In some places the government pays for the surgery. Will it there? It is very expensive.

In some Canadian provinces they pay for it. There was a transexual from canada in the sexuality board last year. She hasn't been around the forums since August. She was in Quebec and they don't pay for it there. Ontario might though.

I hav'nt seen that yet. No the govt here won't pay for it. I think in the u.k. they pay for some stuff though.I may go there to work if i can't get my visa for Canada. Are you surprised?
