Do you get the short end of the stick?

I see that a lot of people on the forums has been the victim of some form of hypocrisy or double standard.

Growing up my family were suppose to be the bad seeds because my parents hardly talked to people. The neighbors would paint their tough kid children out to be like little angels while we were dumb liberals who kept and unclean house. However it was there kids who would try to take advantage of our liberal nature pressing us to let them watch smutty movies. They had no respect for us and as a result would pee in our pool and say we shouldn't mind it because we were slobs.

I've seen tough punk-like guys being treated in some of the upper class places that I have worked in with some measure of respect(or maybe fear). Like there is a politically correct jargon in place demanding the kind treatment of the gangster type. I on the other hand while in any job that could invite snobbish treatment have been treated like poor garbage. You have no idea how pissed of I get when someone behaves snobbish towards a poor shy guy, but protects the poor gangster type.

Please share some example of your run-in's with some garbage double standard or stupid hypocrisy.

dxp, many things in this world don't make any sense at all. In some cases - yes - the bad peope are favoured over the innocents such as you and I. It will never make sense, but don't let it lessen your fighting spirit. You may be shy dude, but you can have great determination and tenacity too. Don't let anyone push you around anymore. If you feel that you have been mistreated, then speak up and let your voice be heard.
