In what sense are you asking that question? Are you implying that you suspect he is avoidant while he does not know about the condition, or you both know about it but he would not want to know about a place where people talk about the condition?

Ok, it's still not completely clear to me. Basically, you learned about avoidant personality disorder, and he does not know about this condition, and you would like him to come here to talk to other avoidants? If so, I really cannot predict how he would react. It might help him, but from this story alone it's not really possible to say if he is avoidant or not, since it doesn't mention any of the "core elements" of an avoidant personality.
