Dungeon Keeper... That is rather old school, is it not? I think I have the second one, its strange, but its an alright game.

People who know me insist I am a cynic because of my hatred towards Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I think it partially comes from the fact that I don't listen to a single band, so all the music is just loud noise to me, and that Guitar Hero is utterly pointless; it doesn't teach you guitar, so why use the silly controller?

Because it's fun!

The people who compete in Guitar Hero championships are kinda funny, though. If you're going to devote that much time and energy to mastering Guitar Hero, why not learn how to play an actual guitar?

I have always found the gameplay in Guitar Hero to be extremely plain; its essentially an old QTE from Shenmue. It is the bare bones of video gaming; a prompt appears on the screen, you press the buttons it tells you to, you win. At least DDR (Not that you would ever, ever, ever, catch me playing it) at least has you exercise.

True, but have you ever tried to play Guitar Hero on expert mode? It takes skill. It may not take brains, but it takes skill.

I am horrible at most reflex based things =x years of rpgs and strategy games have taken their toll, I suppose.

Don't feel bad. I can't play on expert. I just love rhythm games. It's like crack to me.
