I can sympathize with the whole boredom thing >.>; Its been at least a month I think since I last went outside for any period of more than and hour and a half, and can't remember the last time I overly enjoyed it. I spend most of my day either reading anything on history, playing strategy games (only grand strategy, ruling a country and and whatnot.), certain rpgs, got a few old school video game systems I occasionally hook up, or just watching tv or something. Sad part is its not so much entertaining as it is time consuming >.>;

The basic fact about human existence is not that it is a tragedy, but that it is a bore. It is not so much a war as an endless standing in line...

To be honest, I have never been a big fan of Sim City :oops: Mostly I play historical games, found a nice one a month back that lets you choose any country between 1453-1796~ and play through history anyway you want. So can't help you on the Sim City front =x I also play a lot of j.rpgs, not a big fan of most FFs besides FFT, also play FFXI sometime to kill time. I loved Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen on snes and Shining Force games on Genesis, also play a good bit of Disgaea, and others. Just wish I could find an actual cartridge of Ogre Battle for my snes, but its super rare, so I will probably have to live with the rom ; ;

Yes, the third one actually XD Only real complaint is the combat uses dice... I miss my medieval 2 tactical battle map ; ; some of the defeats in EU3 feel kinda cheap in that way >.>

I love that game. I played it for over a year, then finally caved in and bought both the expansions. Currently playing those. :)

Ever play multiplayer?

Never played the multiplayer (I don't think I've ever brought myself to play something competitive online >.>) and I still only have the original game, no expansions ; ; But one thing I like of EU3 over, say Medieval 2, is the increased control over your countries domestic policy.

Playing online can be loads of fun, as playing with humans is obviously much less predictable than playing the AI. If you think the country control is good in the original, you should check out the In Nomine expansion. It makes the original look like Pong.

I've considered getting the expansion, but it was hard enough to find the original game in the gamestop I go to (I have this bad habit of planting roots and not leaving them >.>) and thus far haven't seen the expansions at any of them, they look good though.

They're only available as downloads from Paradox's website, so you're not going to find them in any stores. They're worth a look, and I'd strongly recommend them.
