Nor do I at present - I am far too stressed lately to watch them. In the past, however, I went to see Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (The Kevin Costner film) 7 times in the cinema.

What about movies dealing with loneliness? The ones that have character exploration and look "boring" to the general audience.
Ever since watching "Lost in Translation" in 2003, drama became my favorite genre. I tried watching Transformers and latest "Wanted" but all i realized is that i hate action movies, which is very unusual for a guy.
I also found that if i have nothing to relate to in the movie, i will usually dislike it. I guess i view all movies kind of like documentaries. Always trying to learn something from it rather than just be entertained.

Old boy is a great movie. Watching the the character Oh Dae Su, was like seeing an asian version of myself, personality wise that is.

Old Boy was COOL. I saw it at the midnight movies a few years back. Apparently it was the inspiration for the Virginia Tech shooter.

Does anyone know a film called They Live!? It's the cheesiest scif-fi film I have ever seen in my life - hehe - but it's funny. Actually, this film is a schizophrenic's dream movie: In it, aliens have been living amongst us for many years brainwashing everyone with hidden messages. These aliens also appear as regular humans to everyone's eyes. However, the main star finds a pair of glasses that, when he looks through hem, he can see through the hidden messages to the truth... ...shock horror! :)

Yes - with Rowdy Roddy Piper, the pro wrestler. He never made it as an actor I guess. John Carpenter directed I believe. It was stupid and funny.

Yes, it was that wrestler alright. I didn't think anyone here would recognise his name if I mentioned it. I own it on DVD and it's more like a comedy to watch, rather than an action film. At times, I don't know if [John] Carpenter meant it to be funny or serious. The same is true for Big Trouble in Little China.
