I found the storyline of Girl Interrupted interesting, but thought that the actual film was poor. Jolie was terrible at actng during it, and Ryder wasn't that great either.

The new batman movie is in my top 5 favorite. There was some really good acting in that one.

I've seen way too many movies to give a list. In many ways I still like the older films better. Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge on the River Kwai - David Lean classics. The Third Man is also one of my favorites with Orson Wells as Harry Lime - one of the best bad guys in the history of film. The Maltese Falcoln is the best film noir ever. Even the good guy is bad! Sam Spade is definitely the best good guy bad guy in the history of cinema.

I read the novel Girl, Interrupted before I watched the film. I quite liked the novel, more than the movie. One of my favorites.

And the movie was decent, but I didn't like how it was altered.. but of course they're going to alter it. Always do. I just didn't like how they made Lisa out as the 'villian' to spice up the storyline when, well, she really wasn't in the novel.

and this one does a bit. Deals with borderline, although, I could relate very much to Suzanna.

Books are always better than the movies they make out of them.
