Being cool about asking a woman out

I'm on the verge of asking a woman out. I mentioned something about a concert today and she said it might be something she would be interested in. This isn't just any woman. This is just about the nicest and most perfect woman who I've ever met. We used to run into each other at work once in a while, but in the past couple of months she moved to a new job and I get to chat with her a bit every day. She is very friendly. Smart. Beautiful. She doesn't seem to have a bf and that is very cofusing to me. She could have just about any guy. I knew another woman a few years ago like this and it turned out she was a bipolar alcoholic.

The good thing about it is that she seems far too young. She can't be older than 25. That seems to take pressure off.

She is probably just being friendly. That is alright. I like having women friends. I have some 55-65 year old women friends and it would be nice to balance that out with some younger women friends. I'm just going to be COOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL.

I froze my age at 39 a few years ago John. I don't like the idea of being 40. I asked her today. I didn't get any commitment, so that's probably a no. I don't want to bug her and scare her off though. I like talking to her.

She hasn't been around since I asked her out. Not a good sign. I have been thinking about her a lot. I have developed quite a crush. She seems like such a perfect women.

She has been coming into my area again. I have decided not to bother her. It's not easy though. But it's too pathetic to be flirting with a woman with no chance of anything happening. Today I was in my office doing the end of year numbers. One of my workers came in and told me 'That girl you like is here." I guess it's that obvious. I just stayed in my office and finished the numbers.
