Unless they give you an std, that would suck having one for the rest of your life. :(

I don't think anything would cure me but having a friend understand why i am the way i am and being able to talk to them would help. But thats probably never gonna happen.

This is pure speculation, but I'd think std's are more of a problem with illegal prostitution. As with any legal industry, it is likely regulated for stuff like that. Wearing a condom is likely company policy, and I doubt they would hire women with std's.

Yes - the legal prostitutes have to get tested often. They make you were a condom. It is actually pretty safe. But it is 2000 miles from me and way too expensive. I'm not paying THAT much. I would resent having to pay a months wortn of pay for an hour.

Yeh, that's why they legalised prostitution in The Netherlands (Holland). Their view was that it was too hard to combat when it was illegal, so, they decided to make it legal but have it under control. That's also why they legalised a lot of drugs other countries regard as illegal. The Dutch aren't bad people either... ...They are quite nice, in fact.

Be aware everyone that you can catch an STD from just about anyone. It's a myth that prostitutes are the most likely to carry them because there are a hell of a lot of people out there that sleep with countless people each week. As prostitutes, I'm sure that each of them takes care to wash themselves afterwards too (or maybe that's just me being naive).

Im surprised you never hear of R.O.C.K. Kevin. He started out as a charachter in the Irish times and has his own play the last days of the Celtic tiger.

I honestly have never heard of him. I did here of the Celtic Tiger though (my bulging bank account is testament to that ;))

Joking.

My brother and I once worked out the odds of winning the lottery and we came to the conclusion that the odds are so extreme that they must actually rig the lottery every now and then. You will also notice that, when interest in the lottery is waning, they will allow it to 'roll over' a few weeks to increase the jackpot (and, thus, attract more contestants).

Of course, I don't think they'd be that dishonest... ...

I saw the movie Wanted today. Main character is some loser in a dead end job, has panic attacks all the time. His girlfriend is cheating on him, his boss is a bitch, his life sucks ass and he is too much of a pussy to do anything about any of it. And then all of a sudden Angelina Jolie is there like "hey your father was the worlds top assassin and now he is dead, we need you to take up after him and lead a life of excitement and kill people for money and look at my sexy body all the time!"

And then all of a sudden he is a charismatic bad ass having adventures and $#%^. Just made me think of this thread and the ridiculous $#%^ we talked about that could cure us.

WHY DOESN'T THIS $#%^ EVER HAPPEN TO ME?! *RAGE*

I should start killing people for money. Seriously. Anybody here rich and have some enemies they want knocked off? 2k for a sloppy job, gunned down in cold blood. 10k and nobody will ever know it was anything but an accident.

Grr, I hate the way a movie does that: It makes you get so wrapped-up in wanting to be like the main character, that it begins to affect your 'normal', everyday life. Like, I'd love to also live in a delapidated building leading a rogue organisation like Edward Norton does in Fight Club. I'd also love to have Arnold Swarzenegger come up to me one day to tell me that I'm the world's saviour (albeit in the future), like in Terminator II.

Does that go for scratch-cards too?
