Problem friends

Padador, are you realising that you are repeating the same cycle as before? Well, you know it doesn´t work in the past, what are ou going to do to change it? (It´s a rhetorical question).

I looked for other jobs. This is all I could get. I am limited by my bad foot too. I have all this sick time if I stay with state government and that's a big incentive. This job is going to be MUCH easier I think. Much less pressure. In the other one I had 300-400 customers coming in every day and at least 5 or 6 were whiney maggots. I remember getting so many ridiculous accusations from my boss - yelling at a patient. Not true. Clipping my toenails behind the counter - NOT TRUE.

In this job I'm only interacting with about 12 people a day. And a lot of my day is spent by myself in the lab testing water samples.

And fervent - I DID tell her to cut the crap. I told her MANY times that I saw no evidence that she was working a full day. She would leave at 4 and say she was coming back. I told her that I didn't see her in the building anywhere after hours when she said she was completing her day. Then she would just say ridiculous things like she was working in a secret room that no one knew about. When I finally told the exec I was the one who got suspended.

OOOOH NOOO!! i get busted! cant do that!!! looks bad!? what the hell?? all the damn smokers walk out every hour "to check the weather" but i cant sit at my desk in front of my patients rooms play with a pocket book sudoku?? the smokers walk right by the managers office !! they know damn well they going out for a smoke! and it's a "smoke-free facility"?? PLEZE!! all crap! i have to hide in the dirty utility room when my husband or brother txt me? we can't even do that! "looks bad"..but...ok for the other nurses to go out and smoke and make others answer call lights and make up excuses where their nurse is!

you need to go to a private company! just me...i think the enviornment would be much better!

Hey, I´m really happy you for you and your new job. Don´t look at backwards. Only one thing I have learnt. Each person is responssible for his/her own acts. I was resentful for many years with a co-worker I loved and this fact affected me in everything. In my personal and proffessional life. Resentful only harms ourselves.
What the hell I´m going to tell you that you don´t know.

Unfortunately more cuts could be coming in 3 months. That's when they are going to look at the revenue situation and decide if it's necessary. With my luck I could get chopped again. It would be cool to run my OWN business. My former assitant ran her own restuarant before she came to work for me. She gave it up because it is so much work and responsibility. No vacations either. And you still have to hire people and deal with bad workers. Ever see that movie Extract? It's a lot like that.

Fervent - yes I have had the foot looked at over and over. I've had two surgeries and had dozens of steroid and alcohol shots. The pain is bearable most days now. But some things may not be fixable. That's just the way it is.

No, I never saw the movie but I have an idea of. My parents had a coffee-shop for twenty or more years. I don´t recommended it, mainly for an avoidant person.
