I am 27-years-old and live with my parents. I don't have a job and I have no friends.

Don't worry, most of the people here are in a similar position. Nobody's going to judge you. Personally, I'm 19 years old, live with my parents and I don't have any friends irl. I have no social life and spend all of my time locked up in my room surfing the web and playing video games or reading or on some other pointless activity. So don't feel bad about your situation we're all the same here.

I was the same way when I was your age. Actually, I'm the same way now except I don't play video games or surf the web as much as when I was younger. I've lost interest in pretty much everything I used to enjoy. I don't know if it's because I'm depressed or if I've just outgrown those things.

I had a job for a while when I was 20-years-old. I was taking Paxil at the time. But it only lasted three or four months. No, I never went to college. I can't afford it. Besides, I'm too afraid.

What is your parents attitude about this? 7 years with no job and not going to school is a long time. What do you do with your time?

My parents pretty much leave me alone. They're dysfunctional in their own right. What do I do with my time? That's a good question. Lately, I’ve been trying to teach myself how to speak Chinese. Why? I dunno.
