^ I have the same problem. But 90% of the time all I order are books and DVD's and they fit into my building's mailbox just fine. What I hate is when I get a slip from the post office saying to come pick up my package. What's the point in ordering it then?

I wouldn't advise anyone to do this, but I like to online shop while I'm drunk, then delete my Internet history. In the morning, I forget what I ordered, or sometimes forget that I shopped at all. Then I get all these surprises in the mail, and it's the same thrill as opening a mystery present, but I still know I'll like it, since I bought it.
One time a box arrived, and inside was a roll of toilet paper that was made to look like $100 bills. I guess I knew I'd get a good laugh out of that when I opened it.

Me too! I don't think I've ever been on Amazon when I wasn't drunk. I think if I clicked on it now, I'd get confused because the pages wouldn't be blurry and there would be just one of everything. The reason for this is because I really have no business ordering books or movies when I'm two months behind on rent. But I work hard, so I occasionally treat myself. A little (or a lot) of vodka takes some of the quilt out of it. I should click off their email notification option because the next day I always get a "your order has shipped!!!" email from them, which ruins the surprise.

Exactly. I have money anxieties and am extremely frugal. Even though I have a good amount in the bank, I still have a really hard time buying things and I'm very indecisive. So when I drunk shop, I'm buying the stuff I actually want, and can actually afford, but that my anxieties usually prevent me from getting.

I'm very frugal, too. If I find a dime on the street I think "oh thank God". I'll spend a lot of time on Amazon juggling the items I want to buy so I can buy enough to get free shipping but still spend the least amount of money.
About what you said; I never thought of it that way. I don't drunk shop so I can make foolish purchases, I do it so I can buy things I've earned and deserve but am otherwise too up-tight to allow myself to buy.
Which is pretty much what you said...
