What about a simple "thinking of you and your family"?

I don't know them.

You could write that your coworker was a positive influence in the office, and that she will be missed. I think people who are grieving are generally comforted when they posting things about the person they lost.

Hi Parador
I'm so sorry to hear the sad news and I also hope you're dealing with the thoughts and feelings that this is throwing up.
I think Unsocial Butterfly's idea is a good one. It may be nice for the family to have some positive comments to treasure.

Think I can write something about how I miss her - and her accent. Lots of times I couldn't understand what she was saying because of her thick Polish accent.

I think that would be good Parador- it sounds a lot more personal and something she'd be remembered by.
