rigning I couldn't play anymore in the days of 8,16 bit games. I used to get addicted and really upset about games. when I died I'd get these weird freeze things like a ghost came over me, and headaches, stomach cramps, I used to dream about how to complete the levels, the graphics used to make my eyes burn like doom does. think it's a mild form of epilepsy from the low bit and refresh rate flashing games. it's so weird I honestly sound mental I know. then metal gear solid 2 on ps2 got me back into gaming after a 7 year hiatus. thank god I have interests otherwise the world would suck. even if I go to old people's home hell if I can bring my console I'll be ok, just shut myself in my room haha.

This happened to me with books and movies and shows too . I just can't enjoy most of them anymore because I become too overcritical of them. If I don't like them within the first little bit I toss them aside. My attention span has gotten much worse over the years though......It can be a bit frustrating , honestly. I don't have depression often enough for that to be the reason either.
Why do you find you can't play them any more? Burnt out?

yeah. lived in isolation for too long. brain telling me i'm an asshole for not filling it back up with more external information because everything already in there has been used and recycled so many times it's lost its effect. but yeah, same with books, movies, series, and even being creative.
