That is actually quite common in many places - give someone too much work to do in an 8 hour day. And if he doesn't get it done yell at him. My last boss yelled, the one before that nagged. I wrote on my review that I was given so many duties that it was hard to document a lot. At one time I was running 5 instruments. Most people run only 2 or 3. I can always start going home complaining of migraines like one girl did before she said take this job and shove it. Or foot cramps -I actually do get those a lot and I limp around work really bad. It's worse than my normal foot pain. Oh yeah - it is a unionized workplace. But the union only takes the side of people who deserve to get fired as far as I have seen. I have publicly trashed them many times. So I don't expect any help from them if the $#%^ his the fan.
Don't you sometimes ask yourself why the differences? I do it. I usually say, that happens to me bc it's me, bc I'm different.
I'm sorry you are having this problems at job, you already had a bad time in the previous one. Job world is sometimes very complicated.

So he finally read my comments and asked me if that was a rebuttal. I said it was a comment. I guess that means the exec sees it but no one about that level. There are lots of levels. I don't think I can grieve a satisfactory evaluation. I could grieve workload if he puts me back in toxicology. He said he wouldn't. Too much to do for dishwasher boy!

Differences? You mean in how he treats different people? If you aren't 'normal' people tend to treat you poorly. It's the rule of the jungle. Weed out the weak!

Exactily, this is what I was referring to. I felt a different treatment in each group I was involved in. Even in my family. I sometimes wondered if there was my paranoia, real or both, I mean my own predisposition to feel different.
When do you know about the results of the evaluation?

The result is that I'm just satisfactory. I guess that means they don;t try to fire me for at least another year. No possible upgrade to a higher pay level. I will get the same cost of living increase that everyone gets. I probably continue being dishwasher. But we are moving to a new building in a few weeks so everything will be arranged differently. It should mean everyone washed their own dirty glassware. But somehow I doubt it. I could file a grievance over that I guess.
